2020 Favorite Summit County Local Businesses + 1 Grand County Business you can't miss

8 Summit County Businesses I LOVE

plus 1 Grand County Biz You Can't-Miss

It’s that time of year...where the world falls in love with LOCAL businesses.

I am so proud of our local businesses in Colorado for facing all of the challenges this year. I have seen so many local businesses here in Summit County shine with innovative and creative ways of doing business, adapting sometimes daily to protocol changes, and serving our community the best they can.

That being said, I do have my favorites. Some of these are repeats from 2018 but I wanted to share them again because that blog is from the very beginning of LMR Consulting.

So, here are some of my favorite Summit County businesses and 1 Grand County business you can’t miss!

NO. 1

Red Buffalo

First of all, locally owned by the amazing Erin who supports our community in all sorts of ways! Second of all, great staff that makes delicious coffee!

Arapahoe Cafe & Pub

I’m biased because my family owns the cafe but I honestly love eating here and the cafe family that works here! I am stoked you can get pub specials from 4‑6 every day (hell yes taco Tuesday) and that you can pick up brunch on the weekends.

Saved by the Wine

These ladies are new in town and luckily, I live just down the street! The atmosphere is cozy and fun, they have a killer hot toddy with a fun name pun, and their wines are 50% off right now. Dang!

Peak Yoga

My favorite yoga studio in the county has some In-person classes going which feel very safe and cozy. They have the best view in the county (good morning Buffalo and Red) and are offering a sweet deal right now for live stream classes.

Supporting local businesses is more important in 2020 than it ever has been. Without our local support, they can’t survive, so I encourage you to shop, eat and play locally this winter!

NO. 6

This may be the best burrito I’ve ever had and I have eaten A LOT of burritos. I haven’t tried the pictures of strawberry marg but it looks amazing! These guys are née in town and definitely worth checking out.

Minimal Impact

This new spot is hiding in the beautiful Alpine Gardens and has really curated and ecologically friendly products. Jenny is wonderful and also wraps any presents you may buy with cute cloth! You can also look at plants at Alpine Gardens while you’re there!

It is my belief that local businesses are the backbone of our community and I will love them till the day I die. As a small business myself, it’s still my goal to help take marketing off of business owners’ plates. If you know of anyone who is looking for marketing help, shoot them my way! I’m taking on new clients in 2021.
